The Brief:

The client was keen to implement a 'remove to reuse' strategy for the redundant FF+E on this site. The works would be completed in a 5 phased program of work with approx. 50 guestrooms per phase. BGES worked to a 7 day window per phase. Mattresses were to be removed to store for return on completion of each phase. Asset decommission in a number of Public areas were added to the brief at the tail end of the project.

The Outcome:

248 guestrooms and public areas were decommissioned during the 5 phase program of work allowing the main contractor to begin the remodelling/renovation schedule. BGES would work to a program of remove to reuse. Approx. 5050 individual pieces of FF+E were removed from site.
